  Barrel tasting at Jadot. New wine for Jadot, wow, this might be a great bargain worth seeking. Dense, slightly sweet, while also very rich and savory. Very good depth, nuance and high level of fun. 90-91 point potential.

  Barrel tasting at Jadot. From the very top portion of the Perrieres slope. Deep and intense with an array of orchard fruit. Rich and complex while already nuanced and well textured. Good now, while clearly cellarworthy. 92-93 point potential.

  Barrel tasting at Jadot. Very big, very concentrated, but not particularly forthcoming today, in fact seemingly backward. The concentration gives me confidence this will be another successful vintage of this wine, but I couldn't assess it in any fair way today.

  Popped-and-poured, served blind at Jadot, although Thibault had hinted they would open this cuvee, so I was only really trying to identify the vintage. Slightly musty start made me think this older, showing very good concentration and moderate ripeness. Long, long finish. This never fully freshened up in the few minutes in glass, but I liked everything here, but still thought it older than its actual vintage.

  Barrel tasting at Jadot. Dense black fruit throughout with roasted meat everywhere. Seemed slightly brooding to start, but balance quickly emerges and this is already easy to enjoy. 93-94 point potential, but requires patience to really show that full potential.

  Served to us blind at Jadot. Black fruit with some background red cherry hints and a trace of animale. Good+ balance and weight. I clearly thought this from Gevrey, but thought it showed 1er Cru density at this point, and suggested 2013 CSJ.
