All wines were tasted fully blind.
However, we knew the first red wines were "Bordeaux blends" and the second set of reds were "Rhone blends".
Beautiful bouquet with ripe yellow fruits. On the palate ripe yellow fruits, full bodied, beautiful acidity and also some slightly sweet impressions.

The bouquet is still locked and shows some caramel. On the palate full bodied and creamy, with a lot of minerals, firm acidity and bitterness. Needs more time. 91+ for now.

Perfumed bouquet. On the palate full bodied and a bit fat, caramel, butter, ripe and sweet yellow fruits, well dosed oak and some heat in the finish, but nevertheless an excellent wine.

The bouquet is mature, exclusive and truly beautiful with still some dark berries, truffle and pleasant barnyard. On the palate the same impressions, earth, autumn, very classy, perfectly harmonious, beautiful acidity and tannin with a soft bite. Really great!

Beautiful and mature bouquet with dark berries and pleasant barnyard. On the palate dark berries, chocolate, beautiful oak, barnyard, autumn impressions and a firm amount of good acidity. Not as luxurious and harmonious as the Haut Brion we tasted beside it, but certainly a beautiful wine.

A lot of dark berries, licorice, tobacco, earth and smoke in the bouquet. On the palate dark berries as well, barnyard, chocolate, firm acidity and a touch of sweetness. Not sure if this is a slightly off bottle. Anyway, the wine did not impress as much as 18 months ago.

In the bouquet a smell which reminds of metal. On the palate leather, herbs and spices, juicy acidity and mineral impressions. The alcohol shows a bit. I was not really impressed about this bottle. No score.

In the bouquet red berries, leather, metals and a touch of barnyard. On the palate a very full bodied wine with ripe red fruits like raspberries and cherries. Yoghurt impressions, good acidity and a lot of sweetness. Definitely a very beautiful wine, but for me it is still several years too young. For tonight I scored it 93++. In 5 years time probably a few points more.

Mature and beautiful wine. Dry honey, some petrol, pleasant and not overdone sweetness and beautiful acidity to give the wine freshness and harmony. Beautiful wine.
