  • NV Henriot Champagne Brut Souverain 92 Points

    France, Champagne

Toast and citrus, complex and seamless, gentle mousse, excellent flavours and length. Precise, rounded and classic. An amazing NV as always, one of the very best in the market.

  • 2015 Ossian Vinas Viejas Blanco 91 Points

Spain, Castilla y León, Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León

Layered and intense, relatively subtle and precise, creamy but not as buttery as I remember from the 2011, fresh and elegant, Burgundian composition, salty minerality, well judged oak.

  • 2014 Bodegas AAlto Ribera del Duero AAlto 92 Points

Spain, Castilla y León, Ribera del Duero

Sweet and ripe Tempranillo with gently toasted American oak, firm but beautifully polished tannins, carries its whopping 15% ABV without too much effort, harmonious and rounded, balanced by a lovely mineral freshness, very good resonance and length. Modern style but well judged.
