A little menthol, pure, nice concentration.

Needed a little time to open, and just a hint of brett, but excellent.

Tight, but great concentration and well-balanced tannic and acidic structure, it will be special.

Exuberant fruit and spice to begin with, but the structure comes out with air. Very nice, but plenty of life left.

The leanest of the Bearwallows, with plenty of nerve. It can use a few more years, but is improved by food.

A younger, more structured version of the 2010.

A little menthol, great purity, terrific concentration, similar to the 2006 Alpine but with more of everything.

The darkest of the 2006-2008 flight. It is a baby, but air brought out a tomato leaf aroma and great concentration wound tightly around a structured core. Swap tomato skin for spice and it reminds me a lot of the 1998 Dujac Clos St. Denis at a similar age. Outstanding.

Add a little more concentration and baby fat to the 2006 and this is what you get.

Add a little concentration and baby fat to the 2007, make the fruit a little more lush, and this is what you get.

Takes the complexity to another level from the Swans, but it still needs a lot of time to show all it has.

The most open of the Skylines at first, explosively aromatic, complex, but with tons of structure. Revelatory.

Not as lush as the 2010, but still impressive.

Showing its age with some nuttiness, but not at all over the hill, with plenty of acid. Clearly California, but in a good way.

A little subdued right now, but as it opened with some air, I think it just needs more time.

A little more apparent wood than the other Chardonnays, but with plenty of complexity to keep it from getting out of hand. A great California Chardonnay.
