Introduction

Great tasting with Cellar Master Emmanuel Hautus, who has been with Bonneau du Martray since 2011 and in charge since the transition.

Flight 1 (5 Notes)

  • 2017 Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne

France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru

Tasting at the domaine. Incredibly bright apple start-to-finish with lemon and floral notes. Precise, linear and powerful finish. 93-94+ point potential.

  • 2015 Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne 93 Points

France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru

Tasting at the domaine. Rich apple and peach with very good density. Also very ripe slightly coming across on the sweet side, but that softens on the long, expanding finish. Clearly with upside from here.

  • 2009 Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne 92 Points

France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru

Tasting at the domaine. Summer flowers to start with ripe peach and apple. Starts with intense richness, then substantially brighter and leaner on its long finish, which really shows great textures. Maturing slowly and very gracefully.

  • 2005 Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne 91 Points

France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru

Tasting at the domaine. Slightly reductive start, which blew off quickly with aeration. A real powerhouse in this vintage, yet still fresh with unctuous depth and near burly, muscular textures.

  • 2017 Bonneau du Martray Corton 89 Points

France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton Grand Cru

Tasting at the domaine. All red cherry with elegant textures and soft tannins for Corton. Bright throughout with medium weight and a fun mineral finish.
