From 40+ year old vines. Clear, pale golden color. Medium intense, youthful nose with some vegetable notes, pear, spices, some smokiness. Dense and really nice.
Bone dry, good acidity, 12% abv. Deep, well balanced, some earthy notes, salty, smoky and some nice pear. Good length. Potential for at least 5+ years. 88-89

Tasted blind. Clear, beautiful pale golden yellow color. Nose with some hints of oak, burnt almonds, bee wax, vanilla. Chardonnay?
On the palate very lean. Medium+/high acidity is a bit unbalance and with too much green citrus notes. Still some CO2. Very dense and mineral, nice tannin, great texture. Very young, fresh and long. 91-92+

Tasted blind. Clear, pale golden color. Funky, strange but fascinating nose: resin, myrrh, juniper, rosemary, menthol. Never had anything like this before.
On the palate rather lean, tart acidity and again extremely freaky: Earthy/soil notes, medicinal notes, menthol, wormwood, herbs, juniper. What is that? Do I like it? I don’t know. But certainly a very interesting wine. Good length. Very interesting experience! 87-88

Klare, mittlere Erdbeerfarbe.

Tasted blind. Clear, medium ruby color. Nose easily identifiable as Pinot. Some herbs, some lactic notes, fine red fruit, very rustic.
On the palate dense, deep and spicy. Nice ripe fruit, medium acidity and high, a bit drying tannin. Lots of harsh notes from stems. A bit rough and edgy. 12,5%. Don’t know, how this will age. The tannin needs another decade, but what will happen with the fruit? 86-88

Tasted blind. Clear, medium deep ruby color. Very round nose with lots of warm, ripe fruit, dense, some animal/barn notes. On the palate round and with a velvet texture. A bit hot, medium+ acidity, lots of ripe fruit, deep and with a good length. 88-89

Tasted blind. Clear, youthful golden color. Developing nose with some slight petrol, tangerine, dill, some cassis. Very light and airy.
On the palate dense, but not as much as I would expect from an Auslese of this vintage. Some vanilla, fine yellow fruit, tangerine, herbs. Medium+ acidity, wonderful integrated. Still young and with at least 10+ more years of potential. Medium+ length. 92-93

Clear, medium-deep golden color. Very fresh, young and intense nose of rhubarb, quince, acidity, mineral notes. Dense and complex.
Oily texture, very good balance of sweetness and extreme, but wonderful integrated acidity. Lots of Rhubarb and exotic fruit. Great tension. Very juicy and round. Still very young. Looong and lingering. Potential for at least 2 more decades. 94-95+

Tasted blind. Pale golden, unfiltered color. Nose with some lactice notes. Very interesting palate: Earthy, skin fermentation, very deep and spicy, medium+, well integrated acidity. Some bitter notes and some funky medicinal notes. Cool. 13% abv. Good length. 87-88
Never would have guessed Italy. My first pecorino.
