    France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru

    Nice, rich, fruity nose, soft, rich, berry taste, very rich and creamy tasting, lovely acid, great tannins but medium amount of soft tannins, long finish. My #1 and Group #8.

  • 1985 Château Olivier 94 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan

    Rich and relly fruity on the nose and palate, real fruity noted twice, soft, slight tannins on the long finish. My #2 and Group #7.

    Very rich, almost licorice fruit with lots of berrys, well balanced, medium, soft tannins, great acid, nice finish. My #4 and Group #11.

    Nice rich cherry and hint of licorice on the nose, medium body, lots of berry fruit, nice, simple, slightly harsh flavors in the mouth and finish due to tannins, medium/long finish. My #5 and Group #4.

    Nice rich berry fruit and licorice, on the nose, sweet fruit on the palate, slightly harsh, almost ready to be great, sweet, long finish with medium amount of soft tannins. My #6 and Group #3.

Flight 2 - 1967 Sauternes (1 Note)

Lovely White Wine.

  • 1967 Château Suduiraut 98 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Sauternais, Sauternes

    Rich, medium dark honey, allspice, raisin, and orange zest on the nose, straw/gold color, lovely, mature, past peak tasting, almost creamy taste, slightly acidic, long, long, long finish with an aftertaste that lasts forever.
