  Brief note, trade tasting. Lighter in weight and body than Montmains today, with a distinct salty/saline and citrus character. Good, not great.

  Brief note, trade tasting. Less citrus with markedly greater mineral/stone and saline, oyster shell. Again a finish without much peristence, but the round mouthfeel and richness here speaks to a promising future. Very good.

  Brief note, trade tasting. Crisp green apple, a step up again from Fourchaume in richness and body. Slightly flabbier/fatter than I remember from the 2014, nonetheless very good today.

• 2015 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros

  Brief note, trade tasting. Aromatically dense with lemon, oyster shell. Very good weight and palate tension with a bit of saline influence. Showing its Grand Cru pedigree with a very persistent and lengthy finish, an excellent expression of the site in this vintage. Very good and should improve.

  Brief note, trade tasting. Dense flavors of ripe lemon, quincy, salt, a touch of heat on the palate keeps this from next-level greatness. Medium persistence on the finish, good today but outshined by several other bottlings.

  Brief note, trade tasting. Zippy citrus, a nice deft touch of oak on the palate. Very easy and approachable today, ripe but not overly so.

  Brief note, trade tasting. White flowers, honeysuckle, honeycomb, round and rich creamy 'leesy' flavors. Very good depth and persistent finish, will require time to develop.

  Brief note, trade tasting. Acidity is very lively, very approachable red fruits (tart/cranberry, raspberry). 0.5 ha owned by Bouchard, rest of the fruit purchased from neighboring plots/owners. Good today.

  Brief note, trade tasting. Black fruits, smoked meat, white pepper in spades, this was very dense with present but not obtrusive tannin. Drinking well today and very promising future.

  Brief note, trade tasting. Chalky, much greater depth to the red fruit and spice flavors, this was big and very structured with lots of room to develop. Definitely a bottling to seek out in this vintage. Excellent.
