This was big and bold, strong notes of yeast and brioche, andthe oak gave it a massive structure. Well-balanced with plenty of acidity and vibrant fruit still, brilliant champagne.
No signs of premox. Lovely floral and honeyed nose, age has gave it a waxy and unctuous texture. Fruit is still present but slightly fading. Lacks the weight and power that I expected but still a very pleasurable drink.
My favourite out of the three Vosnes. Best nose by far, the kind that only Burgundy can bring with a mixture of glorious red fruits and a gorgeous floral perfume. On the palate it has great depth for a village, and the finish is wonderfully persistent.
Very floral and elegant nose, but this is the new-school Burgundy to the extreme where it is very lightly extracted that gives it very little structure. Most quintessential Vosne out of the three, some spice and the most elegant, and with the most red fruits.
Second time having this, liked it less than the last time but maybe it was overshadowed by the more quintessential Vosnes that it was tasted with. More earthy and dark than I remembered, and didn't have that intoxicating nose of the other two.
