A touch closed at first - then rich, ripe blackcurrant fruit, touch of chocolate. Youthful, medium/full bodied, rich, ripe dark fruit, spice, hint of meat, firm but fine tannins, well covered by the fruit though, fresh acidity, long finish. Needs a bit more time but this should be excellent.
10/10. Deep ruby, pale narrow rim. Nose is aromatic showing dark fruit, cedar, some gravelly mineral. meaty edge. Medium bodied, cool dark fruit, cedar, gravel, quite classic, some tannins still, but they're integrated, fresh/vibrant acids, good length finish. Excellent, a good bottle, drinking now but absolutely no hurry.
Fragrant and quite red fruited, lots of spice, touch of earth. Medium bodied on the palate, fresh with red fruit, lots of spicy notes, touch of smoke, vibrant acidity., medium/good length finish.
Again red fruited, some lactic notes which I'm finding difficult to ignore. Medium/full on the palate, well balanced with fresh acidity and red-toned fruit but again some milkiness.

Lovely, welcoming sweet fruited nose - blueberries to the fore - quite youthful still but perfumed, exotic and a touch floral. Medium bodied on the palate with soft tannins and fresh acidity, perhaps not the longest but harmonious and drinking beautifully.
Lovely cool dark fruit with lots of smoky, gravelly mineral. Some leafiness too. Medium bodied, linear, almost lean with a firm tannic backbone but again that lovely dark, minerally fruit, fresh acidity, grippy finish. Enjoyed this, better with the steak
Still quite youthful on the nose, if a touch reticent, showing dark fruit, soil, tobacco. Cedary blackcurrant fruit on the palate, soft tannins, harmonious, some spice and tobacco but still mainly on its fruit, finishes well with some soil notes. Delicious.
Blackcurrant fruit, some red-toned fruit coming through too, touch of soy (in a good way), quite exotic, complex, some cigar box coming through. Medium bodied, dark fruit, tobacco, some smoky mineral, soft tannins - lovely mouthfeel in fact, fresh acidity, quite long too. Excellent, drinking well.
