I lost my tasting notes but drank 1 of the 5 remaining bottles in our cellar while watching golf and having a cigar on the porch last Sunday afternoon. Drink now, will not improve and possibly start to degrade soon.

Decanted and enjoyed soon after at local restaurant (Fraiche).
Surprisingly deep colour (to the core) but plenty of bricking to the rim. Fully mature and the nose offered up old cherry liqueur, cigar box, damp earth (and a little old claret 'cardboard'). Not overtly saline but a little tang. Tapenade!
Resolved tannins, a dark core, old wood and dried spices. Light side of medium bodied, fresh, with some richness.
Very pleasant... should have made some notes but the evening was more about the food!

Terrific. Full-bodied with earthiness I dont expect in a Bordeaux, older red fruit taste and aroma (very Bordeaux). Loved it with leg of lamb. A surprising treat for recent purchase.

Decanted about 1.5 hours and consumed over the following 2 hours. Deep, virtually opaque black-garnet color. The nose from the start was a lovely mix of sous bois, tobacco, tar, iron, and plummy fruit with plenty of tertiary herbal and spice development. On the palate the wine is silky with a nice balance of fruit, mature tanning, and acidity. The only nit is a bit of greeness on the finish, which is also a bit tight. Purchased on release and stored in my cellar since.
