[Tasted blind] Incorrectly identified as NZ SB. Light green yellow with high intensity with aroma's of grass, boxwood, grapefruit, elderflower, melon and peach. Medium+ acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium finish
Was open for two days, apparently more flintiness and smoke on day 1 & 2
[Tasted blind] In doubt between a Cote Challonais/Maconnais or a South African Chard. Went (incorrectly) for the first. Elegant wine. Medium citrus yellow, medium intensity with aroma’s of smoke, fresh yellow apple, minerality, melon, gooseberry, toast. Medium+ acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ finish
France, Languedoc Roussillon, Languedoc, Corbières
[Tasted blind] Deep purple, medium+ intensity with blackberry, kirsch, chocolate, coffee, black plum, licorice, herbs, vanilla. Medium+ acidity, high tannins (and not integrated), high alcohol, full bodied, medium- finish. Not my type of wine and I hesitate if it will improve with age
France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Vin de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes
PnP, developed over the course of the evening. What a wine, clearly the WOTN. Big, velvety, complex and still very young and primary, very much like Cote Rotie. Medium intensity with kirsch, licorice, bacon/meaty, black cherries, black currant, rosed, black plum. Velvety nose. Medium acidity, medium alcohol, full bodied, medium+ flavor intensity. Medium+ finish
Unfortunately only one bottle, very curious how this will develop
[Tasted blind] Doubted between new world PN and a beaujolais and went for the wrong guess. Light ruby red, medium- intensity on the nose with black currant, black cherries, herbs, red fruit. Medium acidity, medium- tannins, medium bodied, medium- finish

Became more expressive over the evening. Still quite primary and, just as last time, quite light.
Light garnet red, medium+ intensity with sour cherries, licorice, bayleaf, leather, meaty, black currant. Medium+ acidity, medium tannins (very well integrated), high alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ finish
