  • 2010 Château La Conseillante 93 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol

A touch closed at first, slowly opening to reveal blueberry fruit, plum, lovely purity - noble. Some floral perfume. Medium bodied, elegant, very fine tannins, less fat but by no means lean, fresh/vibrant acids, lovely line, a touch constricted still on the finish but very fine. From 2028ish?

Nose shows ripe darker fruit, chocolate. A touch spirity and sweaty. Medium bodied, ripe black fruits, a touch of warmth and slightly furry tannins on the finish. OK but not at the level of the other two in this flight.
