Typical PYCM zest and tension, but a little richer and more exotic in this vintage. Some alcoholic warmth. Nevertheless had good balance; as usual a good bet to convert non-white believers.
By the glass. Deep golden in colour. Some smelly socks on the nose, a little too natural to me. High acidity as the grape bore some similarities to Riesling. Good food wine but wouldn’t have this normally otherwise.
By the glass. Incredibly fresh for its age and a warmer vintage. Sensual but balanced, slight plum notes without entering modern chocolate territory. Harmonious and integrated, some salinity on the finish. Drinking at peak now.
By the glass. Incredibly sensual and floral nose, but unbelievably tight and tannic on the palate. Didn’t budge much with time in the glass. Classy and aristocratic, agree with those who said that Sandrone is the best modernist maker.
By the glass. Dark brown in colour, honey and apricot notes; lacked the freshness I would expect from Huet. Not the most representative bottle I suspect.
