Introduction

Dinner 1- pizza and salad and ending with hot fudge sundaes. We opened wines and finished them on Day 2.

Flight 1 - Dinner 1 (5 Notes)

Also tried Muga Seleccione Especial 2009 but it was corked. Pape Clement was the star, Leoville Barton was better on day 2,Tinata was a pleasant surprise.

    Nice bouquet, dark color, great balance with smooth tannins and complex flavors, drank over 2 nights, would drink again.

    Drank over 2 nights with other wines, 15.5% abv, well balanced with no noticeable alcohol taste, complex flavors, full bodied, never soared but enjoyable in small amounts, would try again.

    Drank over 2 nights, a really nice Syrah, funky bouquet, spicy fruit, medium body, subtle fruit with complex flavored, enjoyed, will drink again.

    Drank over 2 nights with other wines, better on the second day but still a bit tart, good fruit, nice tannins, complex flavors, would drink again.

Day 1 wines did well on day 2.

Closing

Dinner - cheeses, salad, Maine lobster tails, strip steak, appsparagu, string beans, roasted potatoes, dessert of blueberry- raspberry mix with shortbread and whipped cream (chez Panisse blueberry cobbler)
