Raspberry and camphor on the nose. On the palate, black cherry, blackberry, currants, and a note of vanilla oak on the medium to long finish, with moderate to strong tannins and good acidity. This was an average value at about $75.

Feels slightly more powerful and concentrated than their Cabernet Sauvignon from the same vintage. This had great quality fruit and is quite dense and satisfying. Feels like it will need another four or five years to show what it has though. Great quality and perhaps a fair price, though I prefer something like Purlieu Cab which feels a bit more extravagant and complete with more dryness.

Crushed berry nose with some flowers. in the mouth it has both red and black currant, blackberry, raspberry and dark plum fruit. The fruit is both ripe and fleshy. There is some secondary nuance even at this young age and for such a ripe vintage. It is seamless and well integrated now, which I only expect to get more refined as it ages. First Geodesy wine, and I'm impressed.
