Boka

The 'Cru' got together at Boka for a tasting of the 1er vineyards in Chambolle-Musigny that surround Bonnes Mares in the northern section of the AOC. This was a very focused and interesting tasting (followed the next month by a tasting of the 'South' 1er vineyards surrounding Musigny) as some of the 1ers (such as Cras) showed the rough tight character of Bonnes Mares while others showed the more lithe femine nature of Chambolle more predominately.
Overall a great evening as usual. All the red wines were served single blind within flights.

Another fabulous showing for this wine. Gorgeous salmon pink color. Nice nose with hints of strawberry and mineral with a citrus note. Nice rich dry firm mineral with pale red fruit and strawberry hints. Very nice. 94-95 pts.
