What this wine lacks on the nose it makes up for it in the flavor. So well put together. Notes of black olives. Medium body. Long and layered finish.

Seductive nose. One just want to smell the wonderful aromas and not drink the wine. Fairly good concentration. More fruit than other wines from St. Emilion of the vintage. Round tannins. Ends with brown sugar / molasses notes.

Phenomenal nose and with such aristocratic and unique taste that is unique to Trolong Mondot. Medium concentration and quite enjoyable to drink. Olives, coffee, and dark red fruits on the palette.

I tasted this wine with low expectations after hearing a comment that Margaux has produced wines that are too green. This was a good surprise. Good balance. Spices on the palette and not green at all. Tannins are showing too much at the moment.

Lagrange is one of my favorite produces. It can produce breath taking wine, such as the 1990. The 2007 is nothing to e-mail your friends about. The nose is decent, yet the tannins are too harsh. On the palette is shows pencil shavings and dark red fruit.

One of the most earthy ones of the tasting: fall leaves and river bank. Great nose and solid structure. One of my favorite St. Julien for this vintage

Quite a bit of green notes. The alcohol is in your face. Quite out of balance. Tannins are too pronounced and lacks fruit. Certainly not worth the price. Pass this year.

Notes of broccoli and other green veggies. Good nose. At the moment the wine is really not enjoyable. It does have better concentration and more fruit than the Lynch Bages. Tannins are too noticeable.

Pauillac is just not my thing in 2007. In other vintage it is my favorite region in the world. This wine was a let down. It feels watered down, low concentration, little fruit, light body, sharp tannins and green finish. Not recommended at all even at the lower price this year.

Excellent nose of cassis which shows up on the palette. Tannins quite firm. Medium body and decent concentration. Not much on complexity.

Perfume on the nose. On the palette plenty of cloves and vanilla. Oak is a lot more apparent than any of the other wines of the region. Yet, nothing to hold the oak under control.

Outstanding. The nectar of gods. By far the best Sauternes of the tasting. The complexity is out of this world and produces a full mouth feel. It tickles every part of the tongue. So many tastes at the same time in so many layers: apricot, orange, lemon, tropical fruits, toast, honey. The length just keep going. Best described in a single word by my friend Shane as: hypnotic.

Peaches and pear with honey. Bright and lemony on the attack.

As a lover of Sauternes, it takes quite a bit of damage for me to rate on of those wines low. This particular wine did it. It is just awful lacking everything: concentration, flavor and complexity. So simple and unenthusiastic. There is so little there.

Quite full of citrus notes and green apples. Reminds me of lemon meringue pie. Good concentration and decent finish.

Pineapple, stones and even some minerals. Creme brulee and ends with burnt sugar notes. Reminiscence of an pineapple upside down cake. Yummy!

Minerals and tangerine. A bit light on the body and a rather shy nose.

Crisp and bright. Not a great nose at the moment. Acidity a tad high, yet fairly well balance and decent finish.
