Dry and herbaceous black fruits with tobacco, clove and cedar on the nose. Need some decanting to release the fine aroma. Rich and rounded palate with fresh acidity running through its core structure from the entry to finish. Medium-bodied. A surge of power towards the end of the palate. Transition to the soft finish is a touch watery with a lingering aftertaste of dried wild and slightly bitter herbs. Ready to drink now. A few more years of aging will help to soften the tannins.

D1h. Medium dark red, not much evolvement, 5. Generous mature classic Medoc bouquet, forest floor, pencil, cedar, black currant, still quite fresh. Harmonious palate, m-T, mA, mB, dry, tannins on retreat, balanced and elegant finish. Drink now - 2030 Really good now. Due to the balance I’d guess it will be fine for many years

A wine approaching or indeed on it's optimum drinking plateau. Surely good for a few years, but absolutely Bordeaux en pointe right now. Last of a case of 12 - wish I had a few more left in the cellar.

Woody spice scent. Dark berry, licorice and stone flavor with dusty tannins.

Organoleptically similar to 8/2022, but with less of everything, never really blossoming despite being given adequate time to do so.
