Good and interesting article. BUT, they all talk about how much they know about wine, then talk about Vivino, and tout it as "like Netflix for wine," stating "it's life-changing." Not really so awesome, in my estimation. BUT, at least the NBA is getting into wine. That's something.

Vanilla Puddin is $8 at TW. I'll take a pass.

When we’ve visited Napa a lot of places have noted that athletes can be good consumers and some are quite into it. Also hear that some have tag-alongs who care less. Interesting article.

'Melo's been my guy since he played for SU. I knew I liked him for a reason.

Wonder if D Wade will be happy with his wine a few years from now?

Interesting thread. Living in San Antonio I found that Greg Popovich not only is an avid collector but has ownership in A-Z. Additionally several players developed the bug i.e. the little general and Shawn Elliot. I used to taste, buy and trade with Shawn. Great guy.

I loved this article for the fact that it portrays these NBA players as real humans who have interests beyond basketball. I especially enjoy that the article portrays many of the players as being critical thinkers.

When he played for Denver he was known for his taste for fine wine and fine cigars. Love that he brought his own wine along on vacation because he didn't trust the palate of the people he was there with. Smart guy!
