Hey I make fun of people all the time on this message board. I thought is made me kinda adorable. Sorry about that.

Also does anyone remember champagneinhand? Rarely posted, but when he did it was concise and on point. Miss that guy.

Some times I have to read his posts with one eye closed as I think that is how he posts them.

I believe that there is some sort of gentlemanly agreement that every time Yossarian mentions pjaines, he has to buy the drinks.

Haven't really noticed that slaughterer. Like many others I feel this board is more friendly that others, and the inside jokes are fun and friendly. Those posters who are not around have not had conflict that I am aware of with those of us remaining. I wish them no ill will and enjoyed their contributions. Life just gets busy and some people need a break from online activity. I do think it is difficult to be away and then pop back in and always understand the humor and new characters.

Captures my feelings well. Managed to meet folks from Singapore, Hong Kong, USA, France, Scandinavia and Essex!
Made wine in California with people who can only be called Wine Punks.
Count many as friends and no one as an enemy - even the few nutters gave me a laugh.

Let's stick with it and welcome a broad church.

Speaking of...are we ever going to connect while I'm in the region? I've been here for two years and it seems I won't be here too much longer. It would be a shame...

I seem to recall that PJaines changed his handle here on the boards about a year ago- I don't recall to what.

Serge is alive and well and still full of piss and vinegar! He has a great heart and means well, but has said goodbye to Cellar Tracker. Some people get him, others don't- no judgment either way.
