Yes, but not confident that they will actually pay off on it...

Nothing so far this week, but it is only Wednesday.

On a + note, had a situation in which the price I paid in-store was $5 more than the price quoted online. Sent an e-mail to the store, and returned there yesterday. Difference refunded, plus tax! I was in the area, did not spend more on gas than the refund. I am a happy camper.

Interesting comments by store owner on pricing. Much goes on to avoid having WineSearcher pick up certain discounted prices. Results in some strange names to protect identity and pricing strategy. A bit like the wineries that bottle excess production for Trader Joe's rather than have too much on their own label to dilute the brand. Whatever....

Cheers!

To my surprise, and pleasure, the home warranty company has agreed to fund a new water heater less my $100 deductible. Sweet!!!!

A case of Big Basin Pinot and a case of mixed Rhys Alesia.

Passed (painfully) on the Rudius and the Mending Wall.

I couldn't resist the 24-HR closeout sale on PB Wines. I picked up a mixed case with 6 Cab/Merlot, 4 MSG, 2 Cab/Syrah.

I'm assuming whatever they don't sell is heading to DP. It will be interesting to see a price comparison.

I am still mulling over that offer as I think about everything else being shipped that I don't have room for in my cellar and locker. Good prices.

Saw the first offer for 2006 Dom Perignon today @$169US. I think I'll wait a bit but I've been waiting for this release.

Hopefully it will come down to $150.

My first time shopping at Wine Library - saw a link at WB this morning.

2x 2010 Ch. Lalande, St Julien
I have some of each in my cellar, cleared out the local store already.

wasn't going to buy wine, but saw the fabienne prie NV champ for $25 with shipping from WTSO. So... 4 of those.

Oh, and 3 of the 2012 evening land occidental vineyard pinot via garagiste.

I'm doing well at "not buying wine"...
