ORIGINAL: bennor Figgins - Their BDX now comes in a handy 6 pack, and their new Riesling in an easy to carry 3 pack. I'll pass and probably never buy again. Betz is pushing a Chennin Blanc partnership with Quinta Essentia (South Africa). A bit more than I like to pay for Chennin Blanc, but I'll try 2. Arnot-Roberts 3 bottle total - $25 shipping from California. There needs to be some sort of Winazon Prime. Shipping can be murder. Also some California producers charge sales tax, and some don't. What's with that? ben We bought a three pack of 2010 Figgins when we visited a few years ago but have passed since then. They didn't ship to SC and I didn't want to ship it to NC or GA. Then I decided it was too expensive to boot. I really liked their Toil Pinot but it was by the six pack only, no thanks. I picked up some AR from the LBS at a good price. He is trying to sell it to up his allocation of rose. I have bought Figgins and Toil in the past, but after visiting the Figgins facility last May, I was not overly impressed. He's riding on his parents Leonetti fame but wants to start at the top price tier - and the wine has yet to measure up. I have not gotten a Toil offer, but if it also requires a six pack - I'm done with that one too. ben
