ORIGINAL: Ralphs Bar I may be biased, but try some Central California whites. A few recommendations are Chards from Sandhi, Arnot-Roberts, & Whitcraft. I've found that Tercero's white wines frequently punch above their price point & the classic, Au Bon Climat, makes a some age-worthy whites. Also +++ to everyone's Riesling reccs! Agreed on Central coast (from Santa barbara/SY Valley up to the SLO/Arroyo Grande area just to the north), especially from a value standpoint. Brewer clifton makes great chardonnay under $30, in addition to the ones you mentioned and many, many more. Fantastic cool climate area for chardonnay (and especially sta rita hills for the pinot)
