Home is BC and we have a fairly robust wine industry here but unfortunately most of the wines, particularly the reds, are not to my liking, so I don't buy them. My guess is that of 950 bottles, less than 10 are from BC. So strictly speaking, I am purely an away guy. But I am actually a dual citizen (CAN/USA) so if I can be permitted to refer to North America as my home then home would account for 60% of my cellar. That would further break down as to 50% WA, 35% CA, 15% OR. The other 40% that is away would be about 60% France, 40% Spain. As for my wants, Spain will continue to increase its prominence in my cellar. My beloved WA will stay static (I have so much of it) and OR will increase and CA reduce.
