Didn't pull the trigger on any, I was thinking about it for a day, that sounds like the wrong move as it is gone. Oh well I will live.

Delete is getting easier all the time, I just need to check what I already have. I do buy a few that I like, not what I think I would like.

For those of you who delete without reading, please read today's offer.

I don't know Dain, but I have met Dreux on a number of occasions in the small world of Washington wine.   For the Georgians who first raided Walla Walla with Barb and me in 2011, Dreux was the warm, handsome young man at Waters who shared those wines with us along with a few not on the normal list, notably 21 Grams, and gave the awesome tour of their barrel room, wine thief in hand.

I knew about the brothers' winery project, but didn't know the full story until today. Cheers to the brothers Dillingham!

I also believe that the Moratorium bylaws include an exemption for good causes.

In for three.

Great visit Chris and my tasting notes had 4 stars after 21 Grams. Dreux was a terrific host.

So how soon is something allocated ? If I am still shown as pending on something requested on 10/2 does that mean never going to get it ?

I think even sometimes a week or more.

Generally his rule is everyone get one before anyone gets 2 so it's rare to get a 0 allocation of something.

The exception to the above posts are the eliminator offers.  Those tend to disappear quickly, but you'd know immediately I think if you got an allocation or not.  I looked back and on 10/2 I asked for a bottle of the 2013 Betz La Serenne and got allocation notice within a half hour, probably within 10 minutes of placing my order.

Normal offers can take a week, sometimes two, to get allocated though.  My longest lag time was probably three weeks once and I eventually sent them an e-mail, which they answered right away with status, and the allocation came through a day or three later.

I was a little slow on the Betz and got zero.

Kind of sad that DP put out a full price offer for 2012 Rasa just after the winery offers 2011 at 40 per cent off......

Agreed. I wish I knew they were doing that. I like FP very much and hope the timing doesn't hurt them. The 2012 is another animal. We won't be discounting them.

Anyone tasted today's offer, 2010 Maison Sichel Margaux? I bought 2 the first time around, trying to decide whether to go for a couple more.

Speaking of DP, decided to bite on the 2005 La Rioja Alta Rioja Gran Reserva 904 offer. Not the best price per CT, but not bad either.

Also too bit on the 2012 Ardor cellars Red reorder after DSGRIS' note (Note "D" is his handle's first letter just like DP).

I went to order some more last night and got the sold out, you must have gotten the last of the stash.

If anyone is still looking for the '05 904, I got an email blast today from Amazing Grapes with it @41.98.

I already secured an order from JJB a few weeks ago @40.ea. Not sure if they're still offering

Breaking news from Damn Paul:

"Happy Personal Announcement: I’m thrilled to announce the arrival of Solomon Isao Zitarelli. He was born on the morning of February 21, weighing 7 lbs 1 oz. Mom and baby are doing great, and dad is brimming over with joy. So many of our long-term list members feel like our extended family; I’m so pleased to share this news with y’all!"

Sean Sullivan just posted a strong review for La Rata:

La Rata 2012 Red Blend Walla Walla Valley $70 94 points
This is the inaugural release from Elizabeth Bourcier, assistant vigneronne at Cayuse Vineyards. A unique blend of Grenache (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon, it clearly comes from The Rocks, with the aromas of black olive, peat, fire pit, raspberry and herbs popping. The smoked meat and savory flavors show elegance, depth, detail and restraint, with a finish that sails. It’s a subtle, sublime wine that makes a statement. Editor’s Choice
