My new cocktail - I call it a DanHattan
2 parts bourbon
1 part scotch
.75 part Drambuie
splash of sweet vermouth
splash bitters - chocolate bitters if you can find them
Shake with ice and pour into martini glass.
Enjoy

Left Hand: a variation on the boulevardier:

1 1/2 ounces bourbon
3/4 ounce Campari
3/4 ounce sweet vermouth (preferably Carpano Antica)
3 dashes chocolate bitters (I have spicy chocolate bitters on hand, so that's what I'm using)
Garnish with a Luxardo cherry

The chocolate bitters really add an extra depth to the drink.

The chocolate bitters take a perfect drink and really screw it up.

FIFY. :)

Had an EH Taylor Single Barrel last night and my Buddy a Whistle Pig 10 celebrating their move to CO. Wives had Margaritas and Mojitos. The Pork Belly appetizer with Brie Cheese didn’t suck either.

I can’t find it here because it’s highly allocated so have to pay $45 a glass at our high end Steakhouse. My Buddy paid for it but had no idea how much it was until the bill came.

Last night it was a martini on the rocks (giant ice cube), using Torino Distillati Malfy Gin Originale.
