Oh man Hank with the wrong flex play 😭😭😭

I’m pretty dead too. Fingers crossed for today!

Edit: god I made the wrong bench play too. 😭😭😭

Edit 2: who knew baker mayfield had THAT in him. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜πŸ˜

Yeah I've got trouble. I did pick the big time front runners on my team, but any given Sunday. And then Tyreek out. If I'd known on Thursday Addison would have started for me.

Eh, what are you going to do? Everyone has a dud week here and there, just bad timing :)

Mark you are having an up week right at the right time. Repeating the pattern that CVG faced all year?

Should be fun to watch you guys slug it out in a close one!

Looks like Mye's luck ran out, both Mayfield and Godwin on the bench. You had almost as many points on the bench as Seattle Slew! And CVG is his normal wrecking ball self. Congrats on the win sir!

heavy weight fight for sure!!! I don’t recall ever having so many lead changes. Thank god for CMC or I would be headed home empty handed again!!!!

Commish sneaks out with a stinker win against my barely stinkier loss.

Fun Fact: I polled my long time keeper league if I should replace Tyreek with boom bust Gabe Davis or steady Eddie Trey McBride. Consensus was McBride. But I was already well behind (on paper, MM hadn't scored the points yet) so decided I needed to roll the dice on Davis going off.

If I'd not ben so panicky and gone with steady production would have won easily.

Live and learn - opponent potential points aren't yet real points. Err a bit on the side of opponent scoring more, less, or as estimated are all completely possible.

That's an understatement.

If we both would have made the right choices with our rosters, the final score could have been:

Seattle Slew 134.8 (actual 66.7)
Mtn Madness 103.3 (actual 70.6)

Uff, pretty sad. The other points on my bench I don't hold myself accountable for - those players were way down consensus rankings. Going with zero or 30 point Gabe Davis over 9 to 15 points Trey McBride was a prime example of losing my cool under pressure!

Congrats Commish! Maybe if you get all your ducks lined up right next week you survive CVG

So, you polled your other League, got a good answer to your player dilemma, then decided to ignore their advice? Oops....are you going to tell them what you did???

Probably not. I am at the top of the league ratings for roster decisions and I don't want to undercut the pressure that puts on opponents. Ill tell them I won.

I spent $37 of my FAAB on Puka after week 1 (I just looked it up). Worth it for how much he has contributed this season...

(That same week, Confucius spent $41 on Tyler Allgeier)

Fun fact - both of them played at BYU!

Puka was a great pickup....and a big risk considering it was after only one week. Every year, there are players that go off big-time in the first couple of weeks, then are never heard from again. Puca Nacua is the real deal ....An NFL 5th round pick. The Rams struck gold with that guy....and so did you.

Given how he has performed this season, I would argue he would have been worth spending all of your FAAB.

Well, it was fun being in the lead for the bottle. but....on Thursday night I left 17.2 on my bench. Today the kicker I started got 3 points...and the Defense I left on my bench put up 13 points, Sigh....

Congrats to Perfect Turn, defeating my team in a close battle (1.7 points). It's only fitting that the regular season #1 and #2, Perfect Trun and Fiat Lux, respectively, face each other in the final next week..

BATTLE FOR THE BOTTLE RESULTS!

Week 15 16 17 Total
Team
MIHSG 90.57 141.53 232.1
Exit 69.87 136.03 205.9
BRR 77.83 108.4 186.23
Karen's Team 101.53 67.01 168.54
Barbilocks 90.1 72.77 162.87
BuzzKills 92.57 66.9 159.47

After week 16, "Make It Hurts So Good" is in first place with 232.1 points. It appears that Yahoo will allow all teams to set rosters and participate in Week 17.

Good luck!

Sorry about the formatting in the table. I haven't figured out how to create columns in CT.

Thanks Commish. It was a nail biter for sure. We finished dinner and clean-up and sat down to watch a Christmas movie (what else?) as the game ended - my son and I were watching the Gamecast on our phones - STOP THROWING IT to AIYUK !!! Down to one play at the end...... Fortunate to come out on top.

Hi hate Travis Swift. He was my first pick in the draft and he ended up 37th in points, and that's not counting quarterbacks. TJ Hockenson did better.

Today, when I need him most.....0 points at the end of the second quarter.
