Taste: red and some black fruit. Medium bodied. Quite soft and round. The tannins were resolved. The 14% alcohol was noticeable, but at the first day not disturbing. At the second it was dominating the taste to much. Ready to be drunk. I am curious if and how this wine will develop. At the first day: really enjoyable wine from a very good year. First day: 88(-89). |

7/25/2016 - euroyup wrote: 88 pointsA wine made of 85% nebbiolo and 15% freisa. Color: quite light ruby. Nose: fruity with a quite prominent, really nice floral note. Taste: raspberry and strawberry, refined forest floor and a nice touch of vanilla. Quite fresh, with a good acidity, no depth and some nice complexity. A bit light, but really attractive. Ready to be drunk. 87-88.

7/24/2012 - euroyup wrote: NR(From a 0,5 liter bottle) Taste: rather vivid dark fruit - blackberries and cherries - quite full, with rather astringent tannins. Medium (to full) bodied, no complexity. To keep for two or three years. Might after that to have evolved in a tasty wine. For now 82, potentially 83-86.

Dry, lingering echoes of dark fruits. Beautiful balance even though over the top vegetal and suspicions of oak mulch tea partying. All in all like a perfectly balanced cheap ass Bordeaux. Wondering what to do with the 11 remaining bottles...

2/14/2020 11:36:00 AM - Most wines of my tasting notes are stored under two different conditions:
1. in a wine-cooler at 12 degrees C, with ventilation for appropriate humidity.
2. at a place with a temperature of 12 (winter) - 20 degrees C (summer; summer 2009 and 2011 for at the utmost a couple of weeks 21 degrees C., 2018 three months 23,5 degrees C.), humidity 60-95%, no light, no smells, no vibrations.
