This Pinot Noir is a wealth of aromas such as fresh cranberries, maraschino cherries, and orange zest. The palate is round and juicy with lively acidity, and a touch of sweet, toasty oak on the finish.

Another great Terry Theise wine. Rich clear Ruby color. Initial rich spicy nose becomes a bit subdued after about 15 min. Classic red fruit and oak spice on the palate. Rich full mouth-feel with very well balanced fruit and acidity. A very good PN, an exceptional German PN.

Cellaring this Chianti paid off. Still plenty of fruit. Found the community "drink by 2008" of interest. The added smoothness was well worth the wait. Last of three bottles. Darn.

Definite vanilla cola; my wife keeps getting "pepper" even over into the second night. Strong fruit, full powered finish. Server said her favorite. I can see why. Half-priced wine night at Mill Valley!

Eight months aging did nothing to enhance this "not a wow" for the best palate in my home, my wife who is 62 today! Similar findings. Perhaps I should stay away from Australian Shiraz-based blends.

Tweeted with hash tag #7wordwinereview "My wife Kita says NOT a WOW" So those are my seven tweeted words. I would add "dark berry with short finish and with just the right amount alcohol." The 2009 is better. Check out #7wordwinereview

After having had this wine recommended by a server in Seattle @ $48, we could not wait to get back home to find Surdyk's 20:20 sale on ($17.59 + tax). Now we have to see if the ambience of the bistro affected our taste buds. I doubt it and now have a half-dozen bottles to back up that hunch. My dearest and her great palette was insistent on me buying this one. Wonderful full finish. Not too light. We are to taste test tonight with Peter and Janet from Big Sky.

When my female partner wants to talk about a wine you know it has to be special and this is a woman who really appreciates Rieslings. Compared nicely with her love of German Rieslings vis a vis crispness and fruit. Adequate finish. I agree...of course. Plus, drinking it keeps the $ in the good old USA. Chateau Ste. Miichelle is very hard to beat in general. Brava.
