Medium body. Enough tannin to give nice balance to the ripe blackberry fruit. All in all, a nice wine. It was really good with the pork belly slider (mmmmm, happy hour food). |

12/18/2008 - Zweder wrote: 89 pointsFull bodied and round. Supple already. Pleasant soft tannin. Better than 2004, but one way or another I don't understand. In my memory La Nerthe belonged to the better wines in the past, and now, although it is not a bad wine, there seem to be many wines in C9 which are much better than the basic La Nerthe. |

12/25/2020 - lkilpio Likes this wine: 91 pointsThis wine is in a fairly good phase at the moment. It is quite soft, but also structured on the palate. The fruitiness has already started to fade, but it is still there. The wine is providing pleasant aromas of ripe red fruits and also darker tones of herbs. The wine is balanced, and the different components have integrated. |
