It starts with a nice herbal quality on the nose. There is some good acidity, with a bit of lemon and custard. I had a nice chat with Michael last September when he was crushing the grapes for the 22 vintage. These same grapes are used to make his Cru Carbonic. |

The nose hints at the quality of the juice, with wood and berries, and a whiff of cocoa. It is full bodied with tannins that are not overpowering. Blackberry, blueberry, and herbs. Long finish. |
