Bravo. |

5/5/2024 - cono_sur Likes this wine: 90 pointsThis unoaked blend of 50% Syrah, 30% Grenache, and 20% Mourvèdre has a fresh, lifted nose of medium-high to high intensity that is ripe and spicy with lovely red & black fruits, blackberry, raspberry, cherry, peppery spice, stony mineral, and dried herb aromas with touches of meaty and savoury notes. It is notably mid-weighted on the dry palate with complex ripe blackberry, black cherry, black raspberry, savoury meaty, stony mineral, black pepper spice, and dried herb flavours supported by tangy, juicy acidity. The smooth, refined tannins have some chalky textured and youthful grip. Stony mineral with touches of spice linger on the slightly tangy, crisp finish, with excellent length. Well-balanced and ready to drink now, but will provide pleasure over the next 5 years. Score: 90+ pts |

4/17/2024 - cono_sur Likes this wine: 89 pointsThis unoaked blend of 65% Syrah, 20% Grenache, and 10% Mourvèdre has a fresh, lifted nose of medium-high intensity that offers generous and attractive aromas of ripe red & black fruits, blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, and black plum that mingles with earthy and stony minerality, plus touches of wild herbs. It's mid-weighted on the dry and very ripe palate with delicious flavours of wild berry, garrigue, blackberry, raspberry, peppery spice, stony mineral, and savoury earth. It has fresh acidity and supple, chalky textured, gently grippy, and well-structured tannins. Smoky mineral notes linger on the long, crisp, and well-structured finish. |

2/12/2024 - eboracum wrote: 86 pointsThis is medium bodied and smooth textured with quite pretty Mediterranean spice sprinkled fruit and decent acidity. It is easy drinking but at the limit of becoming bland. The price has roughly doubled since the outstanding QPR represented by the 2020 at c.€3! Quite good. |

1/22/2024 - Sebastian80 Likes this wine: 90 pointsMuted on the nose at first. A little better after 30-60 min. Ripe fruit. Quaffable. Great value. In a nice place right now. Would not have guessed Syrah in a blind tasting. |

9/2/2023 - eboracum wrote: 87 pointsFrom memory and TN, I think that this is a bit more structured than the 2020. Good Mediterranean typicity showing dark fruit, decent acidity and firm structure with liquorice notes towards the finish. A good drink and QPR at c.€5 but not so outstanding QPR as the 2020 at its Foire aux Vins price. |

7/28/2023 - gabrowns wrote: 80 pointsPast its prime, but that’s our fault because it got shoved to the back of the cellar and forgotten. It hasn’t gone bad and was still drinkable, but there just isn’t much life in it. We were looking for a fairly light red to go with pork tenderloin on a hot night; this filled the bill but not much more. |
