Medium-light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of apples, lemons/limes & pineapple with minerals, spices & a slight honey note. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but will benefit from an additional year or two of further aging. Very good QPR for a daily Chard when found at a discount. |

This wine was made to express the chardonnay grape as pure as possible without oak. It is surprisingly good. The body is full. The finish is clean and the consistency is rich. Without the oak the complexity is simple, but overall this wine has a harmonious balance and is very refreshing. |
