I think that JGRINDER2 opened the bottle far too early back in 2012, which led to his rating of 79. Now, in 2017, the extra 4+ years allowed the flavors to mellow and balance. I think this wine holds it's prime from about 2015 through 2018. It should have another good 2 years left in it. |

If you're not going to oak your cabernet (which is intriguing in a vacuum), then you sure as hell better make decent, somewhat complex wine. I paid $12 and it was $6 too much. |

Red fruit fruit on the palate with spice notes on the mid-palate. Fruit and spice continuing on the finish. Finish seems short at first but gets longer after a day or two. Medium body, tannins and acid. Drank over 4 or 5 days with bottle being open for the first 24 hours and it help up quite nicely. |
