10/29/2021 - Eric Guido Likes this wine: NRThis seduces with its violette pastille, lavender, sugar dusted blackberry and sweet smoke bouquet; frankly you could simply nose the 2010 VV and feel amply rewarded with its aromas, like human catnip. While creamy, velvety and opulent on the palate, there's a tart red currant twang that mixes with a bump of acidity and inner herbal tones to create wonderful contrasts that leave a lasting impression. Yes it's structured, and frankly I wish I had another five, not ONE, in the cellar, but still--the pleasure factor on this now is totally off the charts. Bury deep if you only have one or two, or indulge if you have a case.

4/11/2023 2:40:00 PM - I have already opened a lot of these bottles (same year, same wine), and never found a flawed one. What I cannot say about other white Burgundy wines 1° cru.
