The palate was a lot better, juicy and spiced. I gave this a lot of air and the fruit and other characteristics disappeared and the alcohol came through. Winebid purchase, maybe this was a flawed bottle. I have another bottle and some other vintages, definitely going to give this another try. Comment posted by bonarda674: 2/3/2024 5:29:00 PM - I opened the other bottle I got from winebid today -- I believe it was the same lot -- and this one is much, much better. Some animalistic funk and smoke but the yogurtiness was way toned down.
