7/6/2023 - Jamaal Does not like this wine: 50 pointsI've had Hindsight Howell Mountain cabs and thoroughly enjoyed them, but these 4 I got from Winespies I've been drinking over the last year is an absolute let down. The 2016 is all tannins and nothing else. All you taste is tannins, and maybe a hint of blueberries on the finish. Decanting for over 2 hours does nothing. This is a trash vintage, and has completely turned me off to Hindsight. I will never buy Hindsight again. Buyer beware. |

There is plenty of acidity, a slight tartness of savory character but the fruit is so vibrant and intense. Wish I got more of this as it's really singing now. One of the very best price-quality ratios I've come across from Napa in a while. I generally really like the '14 vintage though, and I guess it's coming into its own now. |
