5/11/2024 - mvande21 Likes this wine: 93 pointsPnp. Lemon, peach and melon. Medium bodied and creamy with fresh acidity. I haven't been drinking Sauvignon Blanc last few years. I got turned off after a trip to NZ where I sampled too many grassy SBs. Paired well with a shrimp gnocchi dish. Enjoyed this wine. |

5/4/2024 - La Cave d'Argent Likes this wine: 90 pointsWine Spectator Grand Tour (Las Vegas, NV): Aged for nine months in French oak barrels (83% new), this Pinot offers ripe aromas and flavors of morello cherries, raspberries, orange zest, black tea, cocoa and cola. Medium-bodied, fresh, seamlessly alcoholic (14.0%) and with plush tannins, it still appears to be in the process of incorporating its lofty aliquot of oak, which dominates the mid-palate and lengthy finish. Additional cellaring should allow the wood to assimilate, at which time a higher score will likely be merited. Drink 2026-2032. |

5/4/2024 - rgujral wrote: 91 pointsPnP. Good from the get-go, but got better as temperature increased from 46 to about 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Flavor of melon, minerals and citrus in a nice balance with some buttery notes giving a nicely rounded effect. Great with pan sauteed scallops. I prefer the Araujo Napa Sauvignon, but I only see that one in restaurants and understand how this one has a following. Enjoyed it but will not actively seek it out. |

4/17/2024 - Mark1npt Likes this wine: 91 pointsA mere shadow of its former self 8-10 years ago, imo. Not sure if it's the vintage or the maker now, but it's a hollow impersonation from days gone by. It's still nice in that it makes people question what they're drinking, but it's somewhat hollow and weak compared to the highly thick and viscous vintages of years past. Needs to go back to more malo! 1 person found this helpful, do you? Yes - No / Comments (6) |

Viscous, long on palette, flint lock & hint of Asian 5-Spice. Outstanding as always! Continues to set the bar for top sav blanc in US market. |

The flavor was Tannic and Hot with prominent black tea as Others have mentioned. After an hour or so, this settled in nicely. I think the kind of citrus peel and black tea elements made this really interesting. |

3/26/2024 - TastesGoodToMe Likes this wine: 93 pointsI saw that the '22's of this wine just got a 95 rating from WS so decided to pop a bottle. I am not ususally a Sauv Blanc guy - but I love this wine. Wonderful tropical fruits, banana and vanilla. None of the grassy flavors that New Zealand versions tend to have (that is not my preference). Excellent. This is a Chardonnay lovers kind of Sauv Blanc |
