A steal at mid-teens, really typical Sonoma coast pinot, a little more structured (from new barrels?), also elegant and lean from the cool weather of the gap up there. |

A nice difference from the norm, low alcohol content (12.5%), has long-lasting European sense, but with outstanding California fruit notes. Not for everyone, but for those with a preference for slightly aged, more subtle Pinot flavor. Good, silky mouth feel. Has demolished other Pinots near its price point on a few at-home blind tastings with visiting family. The over-done oak is my primary complaint, but at $12/bottle this is a great QPR with well-cared for estate winery sense. Much better than any $12 Pinot you'll get at the grocery store and a good wine to try something different. |

12/15/2010 - SanFranSoxFan04 Does not like this wine: 80 pointsI tasted this originally at Tam cellars and enjoyed it so bought a bottle. Perhaps I got a bad bottle but I did not like it this time around. I don't recall my tasting notes and I tried letting it sit overnight, it got worst. |
