This wine certainly kept up, and it delivered a well balanced tannins/alcohol. The nose was also pleasant with hint of berry jam and cassis. |

Really spicy on the palate with grippy tannins and nice acidity in the background. For once I wouldn’t agree with Jeff, this wine still needs time. I wonder how the Grand Vin is. Must be huuuge!? |

Well managed and integrating tannins and balanced acidity. Slow ox'd for 2 hours and enjoyed over 2-3 more before and during dinner. Heavy weight in the glass and dark coloring. This is no watered down Merlot blend, there is some prodigious sediment lining the bottle....14% alc and it never feels 'hot'. It's just solid. The Right Bank '12s continue to rock.......
