Would pair nicely with a salted caramel ice cream or figs glazed in balsamic vinegar. Give me glass of this with chili con carne. |

I don"t mind the evergreen flavor, but wonder "where is the fruit"? As we drink down the glass there is a menthol, mint flavor. Trying to give this wine some love, and it is responding with air and time in the glass to where I am going to raise my score a point as the finish is blowing off those undesirable flavors and letting some red fruit emerge. |

Darker fruit and sweet flowers on the nose, with earth and vegetables in the background; a blast of pure, bright, almost sweet, reddish fruit flavors in the mouth (plums, sweet cherries, black cherries), with firm but well integrated tannins for balance; nice finish, ending at last with green pea notes. I think this would be a hit at large gatherings. |
