On the palate, medium bodied tart & juicy red fruit, sour cherry, strawberry, slightly earthy, cotton candy, potpourri, cloves, high acidity, low soft tannins with a long finish to slightly spicy sour red cherry. This wine is exactly what was hoped for: light, young, fresh, bright & lively. Well done! |

A whistful, delicately perfumed nose of pineapple drop, yellow peach, cantaloupe, jasmine oolong tea, elderflower, honeysuckle, key lime, and Pink Lady apple, all against a sweeping backdrop of wax bottle candies and white cheese. Certainly possesses the tell-tale Pfalz broad richness, the acidity fresh yet dialed down to a 7 as opposed to a 10. Very clean on the palate, with a little mango and apricot winking through the linden-scented waxy waves. Medium + finish of lime/tangerine peel and salt water taffy. |

10/21/2019 - Poussin Likes this wine: 90 pointsFabulous QPR here. Nose is red fruit-driven, with cherries to the fore mingled with baking spice, vanilla, leather and a little tobacco. Palate is just insanely smooth and refreshing: zero rough edges. Prodigiously concentrated, mouth-watering berries burst forth with every sip. There’s no grip or phenolic structure to speak of here, and the acidity is kept well in check. Nothing to be gained from holding this - drink now. |
