Moderate & straight forward nose of ripe red fruits of cherries, berries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes of rose petals, tar, spices, minerals & a hint of cedar. Medium to medium light bodied with ripe red fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & cranberries, earthy, minerals, herbs & a hint of spices. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging. Very good QPR for a Barolo. |

A modern style Barolo with oak used to make it more approachable. Good value. A real wine at this price point. Then again, very clearly also not a top end Barolo. Due to an unpleasant tartness that gets more, not less, pronounced with aeration. |

Still young this wine can last another 10-15 years |
