Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, cranberries & raspberries with overtones of spices & floral notes, black tea leaves, dried herbs, minerals & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe red fruit flavors of cherries, pomegranate & cranberries with spices, herbs, cola, tea & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but at 12 years of age is close to or at its peak of development. Although it should hold here for a while longer, I doubt any further development would occur with additional aging. |

Very deep and rich colour almost opaque but not quite. Very rich and opulent nose of dark cherry, black raspberry, boysenberry, dark currants, some vanilla, nutmeg, and leather. Powerhouse Pinot noir. Rich and opulent with all the flavours following the nose. Some rose water, and violets show up on the finish. Super sexy and delicious. Serious heft and weight. Massive finish. Have 2 more bottles. YES!! |
