On a cool but sunny day this still really resonated with us. Briny citrus, strawberry-peach, and stone on the nose. The palate is vibrant, with stone fruit, strawberry-peach, citrus, saline, light bodied and elegant with peach fuzz ad spice on the end. Loved it. I was taken today; this is one to look for again. 90+ to 91pts. |

The palate is light, yet packs considerable energy with fleshy yellow and red fruits, subtle citrus, rose water and a prominent white pepper and mineral finish. This is a buy for me, though I enjoy more than my wife. 88+ to 89. |

Among a series of wines we tasted in our wine tasting group's 1st get-together post-Covid, it ranked 2nd only to a Stephen Ross 2002 Pinot Noir. |

3/24/2020 - guribh Does not like this wine: 83 pointsA rather blah bottling, riding the wave of Rose and the reputation of the Appellation. Not undrinkable, but certainly uninspiring, flat and regrettable, when one could have had a better bottle for less coin. Try hunting down last year's (2018 vintage - good Rose will drink well a few years beyond it's release) of Commanderie de la Bargemone (Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence) at Costco, and you'll get a much better wine wine. You're welcome. |
