Some bitterness to a streak of black tea but overall the fruit tends to a slight sweetness. Acidity still a bit on the high side. Tasty overall. The wine starts out with the berry flavours and then weakens a bit on the mid-palate before coming back for a nice extended finish. Not a hollow mid-palate, just weaker. |

Terrific at the price. 3 out of 4 preferred it to the Thirty Bench we had the night before. However, I would also point out that this is the Chardonnay you know, easily understood in a context of white burg. The Thirty Bench is trying to be something different and some might prefer that. |
