Lots of acidity and tannin, needs some time to settle down. Medium bodied, with lots of Sangiovese flavors. Smoother and warmer on the second day. Very enjoyable and I'll hold my remaining for at least 2 years.

Dark red wine. Flavors still fairly youthful considering the age but smooth, and well structured with soft tannins. Sorry this is my last bottle.

Took a couple hours to open and was still drinking nicely the day after.

Elegant, medium full bodied with tannins still a little drying.
Some secondary notes starting to develop. Good brambly fruit with a little acidity. Very enjoyable but may improve still.

This wine is drinking nicely now and I think it will still hold for a couple more years. A solid core of fruit remains but there are some nice spice and leathery notes now. The tannins are softening but not fully integrated yet on the medium finish.

Medium dark and clear, purplish red. Nose of mint, raspberry, vanilla and earthy spices. Tannins are soft but a little drying on the finish. The acidity is there and gives the wine a nice lift. Notes of cassis, red berries and a little mint on the palate. I'm a sucker for this wine - always delicious.

Drank alongside Falt Rock Twisted. The Hardie was flat and unremakable alongside the Twisted, and probably a lot of other wines. Really lacking in acidity.

This wine tastes best young. The Gewurz notes seem to predominate. On the nose, peach, roses and tropical fruits. Hint of sweetness nicely supported by acidity with some tropical fruits and lemon notes to a short to medium finish. Very enjoyable and great in the warm weather.

Medium red colour. Red fruit with some spices, vanilla and cedar on the nose. A touch austere, with similar flavours to the nose. Medium bodied with fine tannins and a medium finish. Everything seems to be in balance.

Light gold colour. Nose of green apple, a hint of pineapple and wet stone. Medium bodied, slightly sweet and almost spritzy. Great seem of acidity cut through the sweetness. More green apple, stone and lime notes on a medium long finish. Delicious.
