Stone fruit and honey on the nose and a complex palate shot through with almond, honey, lemon pith and baking spice. Surprisingly creamy and mouthfilling with nice length on the finish.
This is certainly in the upper echelon of white CdR, but although all the components are present, this seems a tad disjointed right now. Looking forward to seeing how this develops over the next few years, and it may well merit a higher score in future.

Drank over four nights, but consumed very little the first two because of overwhelming vanilla oak. Fruit emerged night three but leaned toward the pruny, overripe black plum end of the spectrum.

Pleasant shtank on the nose, which blew off after 30 minutes or so to reveal a high-toned syrah in an old-world style. Loads of dark fruit without veering into the jammy end of the spectrum. Nicely done, and I think this will hold for a few years at least.

Not hugely complex, but a nice entry level Burg with cran-cherry fruit, a touch of smoke and food-friendly acids. May develop a bit more in bottle but I’d drink by 2025.

Juicy and crunchy with a nice earthiness from the whole clusters but ultimately the clipped finish makes this a decent food wine but not worth the C$52 tariff in the Ontario market.

Orange garnet to the rim, with soft strawberry fruit and nearly-resolved tannins, this is still in a good spot but it's time to drink up. It's sliding gracefully towards orange pekoe tea.

Slow-ox'd for 3 hours, consumed over the next four. This got better as the night went on, leading me to believe it's got years of life left. Lovely tobacco, earth and floral aromatics gliding over a deep core of cherry fruit. A hint of menthol and nice fresh lift at the end kept me coming back for another sip. Like some others have stated, this would put a lot of pricier bottles to shame.

A lovely bottle. Pure, earthy 'cool blue fruit' on the palate with fine grained tannins and long, long finish. Definitely one of the better Ontario pinots I've had, but even so not sure it's worth the $75 we paid at the winery. At that price point, a lot of very good Burgs start coming into play.

Purchased recently, I was tempted by the label sporting a great vintage but unknown producer and vineyard (at least to me). Sometimes these random old Burgs can be mind-blowimg but this one was mediocre at best. Concord grapey, with a high-toned bubblegum note and no perceptible tannins. Chalking this one up to experience.

Still so young, with a burly tannic structure I've not often seen in 20 year old burgs. Cranberry, black cherry, and earth on the palate with virtually no indication of secondary, let alone tertiary, characteristics at this point. Very good now, but if you like your burgs barnyardy, hold this for at least another five.

In a really nice spot now and much improved over my last bottle a few years ago. Garnet with a slightly orange rim, showing plenty of plummy dark red fruit and a tannic rasp suggesting at least five more years of life.

Second bottle of six purchased. The first was lovely, a fading Burgundian beauty that still had all the barnyard, dark cherry fruit, zing of acidity and soft tannins that make us all fans. The second bottle had the barnyard and acid, but the fruit was battling with a whiff of TCA. So bottle variances may account for the disparate experiences from other CT users so far. I have four left, and plan to keep and open them in hopes they return to the experience of bottle #1.

Yellow-gold color, immediate nose of orange marmalade & apricot. Not as hypersweet as most ice wines, so the lower acidity was enough to keep it (barely) in balance. Perfect with a chocolate cake & brownies after a good meal. Good value for the money.

Possibly flawed bottle, as there was a whiff of TCA (i.e. wet cardboard) on the nose. Had none of the Burgundian hallmarks that generally accompany a Premier Cru. Better QPR elsewhere.
