Medium body, red berries and cherries, good acidity, gravelly mineral, and medium tannins. Rather dark fruit notes for an "entry-level" Barolo and while not too complicated, on my palate this wine could benefit from some more time in the cellar. I guess it's the vintage speaking. 88(+) pts. |
